These lovely diptych prints are "Index of the Series - Thirty-Six Images of Beauty -" by Toshikata Mizuno (1866-1908). These are the index pages, however, they are truly elegant and would be a nice oriental decor in your room. Published and printed by Buemon Akiyama in December 1893 (Meiji 26 nen). Very good impression and colors. Beautifully embossed. This 128-year-old print still has magnificent colors, considering its age. This fine diptych would also look great framed.

Suiko Fukuda is from the circle of Kyoto painters and printmakers, where he was born and where he studied Japanese-style painting at the Kyoto school of Fine Arts. His flower and bird painting are very famous.
