Lovely woodblock print "Divan Japonais by Toulouse-Lautrec" is by Gihachiro Okuyama (1907-1981). The original artist's name "ロートレック”(Lautrec)" and the title "ディヴァン ジャポネ”(Divan Japonais) in Japanese and Pencil-signed "Gihachiro Okuyama" on the bottom margin. Wonderful colors. Gihachiro Okuyama produced wonderful woodblock print series of famous European paintings. This print is one of them. They are highly collectible prints and hard to find nowadays.

From the series "Nihon Fukei Hanga" (Japanese Landscape Woodblock prints) Title "Naiku" (Inner Shrine) on the upper left margin. Okuyama is well known as the artist of peaceful scenery in Japan. Ise Jingu, located in Ise, Mie Prefecture of Japan, is a Shinto shrine.

Ise Jingu, includes 125 jinja(shinto shrine), centered around Kotaijingu(Naiku), dedicated to Amaterasu-Omikami, and Toyo’uke-daijingu(Geku), dedicated to Toyo'uke-no-Omikami. Its area is roughly the same size as Center of Paris.
