This first edition print captures the beauty of the Higashiyama district with its majestic mountains, pagodas, and a full moon shining in the sky. The title 'Higashiyama Tenbo' (View of Higashiyama) and the date "Showa 23 nen 7 gatsu saku" (July 1948) are written in Japanese on the left margin. Published by Unsodo, the print features Unsodo's watermark in the upper left corner. These original first-edition prints are hard to find nowadays.

Titled 'Kinkaku-ji no yuki' (Snow at Golden Pavilion) and publisher's watermark on the upper left margin. It was first published in Showa 23 nen (1948), and this is a later printing from the original blocks. Being an older print from the Showa era, it is long out of print.
