Limited edition size of only 85 sheets. This dreamlike print evokes imagination. Very poetical piece. This is the one of very popular "Red illusion" series. Absolutely beautiful.

The fantastic silkscreen print 'Cats' is by Kotaro Yoshioka (1928-2016). It features two precious purple kittens against a backdrop of black and gray shades, creating a mesmerizing contrast that will capture your heart. The title, edition number, and artist's hand-signed signature in pencil are on the bottom margin. It is already framed, ready to hang, and be enjoyed.
Kotaro Yoshioka was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1928. He started his career as a painter under the very famous Japanese painter Yasuo Kazuki (1911-1974) and began working as a silkscreen artist in 1967. He became a well-known Japanese silkscreen artist. Kotaro Yoshioka passed away in 2016.

Beautiful woodblock print "Himeji Castle" is by Okiie Hashimoto (1899-1993). Already framed and ready to hang on your wall. Artist's red seal "橋" (Hashi) on the upper-right corner of the image. An interesting view of the Japanese castle during the renovation. Wonderful colors and contrast.
Himeji Castle was built in 1609. It's one of the twelve existing towers in Japan and has been preserved since it was built. This print shows the Himeji Castle during the major renovations in the Showa period. The main tower in the castle is surrounded by wooden scaffolds for a major renovation.

This amazing woodblock print "Sarasoju"沙羅双樹 (Sal tree, it called summer Camellia in Japan) is by Shufu Miyamoto. The title is "Sarasoju" (Summer Cammelia). Limited edition size of only 30 sheets. Very beautiful Zen garden image. This print just speaks by itself. Already framed and ready to hang on your wall. I took pictures with glass. Sorry, my pictures have some reflection.
Sarasoju blossoms, which look like white camellia blossoms and contrast sharply with the green grass on which they rest, come out in the mornings and fall in the evenings during the rainy season. We can observe many Sarasoju (Summer Camellia) at various Temple gardens in Japan. The short life of the blossoms touch the hearts of people and feel appreciation for the value of life.

This really cool looking print is by Japanese contemporary artist Kozo Mio (1923-2000). Already framed. However, I can ship this print itself with mat without a frame. He was born in Nagoya in 1923. The international contemporary artist (painter, printmaker, and illustrator ) who brought a new wave in a Japanese concreteness picture by a picture-like fantasy picture by the airbrush technique. His artwork is very familiar in Japan, his artwork was used as the cover of "Focus" (very famous Japanese magazine) until 1989 since 1956. studying traditional Japanese painting at the Kyoto Municipal School of Fine Arts, he turned to oils and, in the early part of his career, painted in a fairly straightforward descriptive style. Soon, however, he began to use airbrushed, concentrating on creating highly distorted figures and confirming his tendency to express his vision of modern society in psychological terms. Kozo Mio received the Grand Prix of the Biennial International Exhibition of Figurative Paintings.
