Wonderful woodblock print 東風俗 福つくし 子福者 "Azuma Fuzoku Fukutsukushi - Kofukusha" (A Collection of Happiness, Customs in the East: "Having Many Children") is by Chikanobu Hashimoto/Yōshū (1838-1912). 子福者(Kofukusha) means a person (blessed) with many children. The title and subtitle in the upper right of the image. The publisher's name is "武川卯之吉”(Takekawa Unokichi), his address, date "Meiji 23 nen" (1890), and the artist's name "Chikanobu hitsu" on the lower right of the image. This print illustrates a happy large family. Very heartwarming subject.

Wonderful woodblock print 三芝訥続錦画初"Sanmai Tsuzuki Nishiki-e no Hajime” (Kabuki Actors) is by Kunichika Toyahara (1835-1900). They are Actor 沢村訥升 "Sawamura Tossho" as 金五郎 "Kingoro", Actor 坂東三ツ五郎 "Bando Mitsugoro" as 小さん "Kosan", and Actor 中村芝翫 "Nakamura Shikan" as 一角 "Ikkaku" in the play 三芝訥続錦画初 "Sanmai Tsuzuki Nishiki-e no Hajime " from 奴仝清水桜 "Yakko yakko Kiyomizu zakura" at Tokyo Ichimura-za. The publisher's name is "菱善”(Hishizen), printed in Meiji 4 nen 2 gastu (February in 1871). Each print has the actor's name and the artist's name "Kunichika hitsu". One print (center) has Censor's seal and the publisher's seal.

This rare triptych woodblock print "日露交戦紀聞- 第四回旅順港外裁駆逐艦勇敵艦ヲ襲撃ス " (News of Russo-Japanese Battles: For the Fourth Time Our Destroyers Bravely Attack Enemy Ships Outside the Harbor of Port Arthur) is by Toshihide Migita (1862 - 1925). Toshihide Migita was apprenticed to Yoshitoshi Tsukioka. Publisher name: Buemon Akiyama, and date: Meiji 37 nen 3 gatsu (March 1904) on the lower-left corner (left side print). The beautiful woodblock print "Harimaze Tsukushi (Snail and Chrysanthemum)" is by Gengyo Miyagi (1817-1880). His name is also known as Baisotei Gengyo in Japan. (His real family name is Miyagi) This woodblock print is a combination of a snail, its poem, and a design featuring Hama-kiku (chrysanthemums/Nippon daisy) and waka poetry. 'Harimaze' is a style of ukiyo-e, which was created during the Edo period to the Meiji period. In the context of nishiki-e (multicolored woodblock prints), it refers to ukiyo-e that features various shapes and various types of pictures placed in a single print, much like the so-called "Harimaze byoubu" (folded screens with various pictures). Japanese title, carver's seal, writer's seal (poem), artist's 'Gengyo' seal and publisher seal 'Marutetsu-ban', (Maruyama Tetsujiro) seal are located on the right margin.

This extremely rare woodblock print, 'Zakuro ni Budou' (Pomegranates and Grapes), is by Kiyochika Kobayashi (1847–1915). The print beautifully depicts pomegranates and grapes arranged on a small table. Many Japanese painters of that time created works influenced by Western still-life paintings, driven by their admiration for Western art and their exploration of techniques. Specifically, various artists focused on expressing the torn fruit and the play of light in the pomegranate motif.
Kiyochika Kobayashi's print illuminates pomegranates and grapes with a play of light and shadow, showcasing splendid technique. It was printed during the Meiji era (1879-1881). The artist's signature is located in the lower right, and the publisher is Heikichi Matsuki.
This print is held in the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto; the Tokyo National Museum; the Minneapolis Institute of Art; and the National Museum of Asian Art, Smithsonian Institution.

Fine Ukiyo-e print "Kabuki Actor: Nakamura Fukusuke" (right side) and "Kabuki Actor: Onoe Kikugoro" (left side) are by Utagawa Kunimasa IV (Utagawa Kunisada III) (1848–1920). They are from the famous Kabuki play " Yoshitsune Senbon zakura" (Yoshitune's one thousand Cherry blossoms trees). Originally they are triptych, however, they are only two prints. The title "Nakamura Fukusuke as Minamoto Yoshitsune" and "Onoe Kikugoro as Kitsune Tadanobu" on the upper left of the image (each). Artist's signature "Baido Kunimasa hitsu" on the upper right of the Nakamura Fukusuke print. Date "Meiji", artist (painter) "Takeuchi Eikyu" (Kunimasa's real name), and publisher "Hasegawa Sonokichi" on the left of the image on the Onoe Kikugoro print. They are rare and beautiful Ukiyo-e prints with amazing colors.
Utagawa Kunisada III (1848–1920) was an ukiyo-e printmaker of the Utagawa school, specializing in yakusha-e (pictures of kabuki actors). He originally signed his prints “Kunimasa" or "Baidō Kunimasa".
