This is one of the series "Large 10 Postwar Works of Senpan Maekawa," printed in Showa 32 nen (1957). This print captures the heartwarming daily scene of Japanese farmer's life. The large red cow stands out against the serene backdrop of the seashore, creating a striking contrast that is both eye-catching and calming. The girl is by the side of her father, watching his work respectfully. It's very heartwarming. An original small label containing the date (Showa 32 nen saku, printed in 1957), the title (Kaigan no Akaushi), and the artist's name (Maekawa Senpan saku) is tipped to the verso.
