The amazing woodblock print "Oboro" (Cherry Blossom and Full Moon) is by Teruhide Kato. Romantic night image with full of cherry blossom and full moon. Published by Unsodo. Teruhide Kato had studied at Kyoto Art College. He was a famous kimono fashion designer. When he was 50 years old, he decided to follow his real passion and became a traditional Kyoto woodblock artist. Success remained with the artist. After a gallery exhibition in New York and a book publication of his works titled "Kyoto Romance", he is as famous as a woodblock artist as he used to be as a kimono designer. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2015.

Jakuchu Ito (1716-1800) was a well-known Japanese painter of the mid-Edo period. He studied Kano painting in Kyoto where he was born as the son of a rich merchant. Jakuchu Ito (1716-1800) was a well-known Japanese painter of the mid-Edo period. He studied Kano painting in Kyoto where he was born as the son of a rich merchant. He became a famous artist as a painter and printmaker of exotic birds, flowers, and Buddhist subjects. The artists' realistic painting style became a source of inspiration for late 19th and early 20th-century kacho-e prints and paintings.

Hocchi no Sakura, Gunma
This 500-year-old cherry tree is a huge tree on the hill in Naka-Hocchi, Gunma, its age is presumed to be more than five hundred years, its height is 12 meters, and its trunk is 5.2 meters around. It is located on a hill in a small mountain village in Naka-Hocchi, Gunma, Eastern Japan.
There is Mirokuji temple for the famous Shogun family "Tokugawa family" on the same mountain. The local people can know when this cherry tree starts to bloom, it is a time of rice seedling. People say "This huge cherry tree looks down on all the village". Local people respect and take care of this tree still now.

Breathtaking woodblock print "Sogetsu" (Moon at Blue Night) is by Teruhide Kato. Mysterious night image with a stunning full moon. Published by Unsodo. Teruhide Kato had studied at Kyoto Art College. He was a famous kimono fashion designer. When he was 50 years old, he decided to follow his real passion and became a traditional Kyoto woodblock artist. Success remained with the artist. After a gallery exhibition in New York and a book publication of his works titled "Kyoto Romance", he is as famous as a woodblock artist as he used to be as a kimono designer. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2015.
