- Fresh Snow -

The serene miniature woodblock print Fresh Snow by Taku Harada (1929–2013) depicts a mountain landscape blanketed in newly fallen snow. Dark wooded ridges and bare foreground trees contrast with the white slopes, while long winter shadows stretch across the snow beneath a muted blue sky.Simplified forms and a restrained palette create a calm, luminous atmosphere, capturing the quiet beauty of the Japanese winter countryside.

This handmade miniature woodblock print was originally produced for a calendar and published by Chikuho-do. Its small size makes it a lovely choice for decorating a small space or as a thoughtful gift.
