Signed: "Sa" from Sano on the lower-right corner of the image.
Condition: Very good condition.

Akabeko is a traditional Japanese paper-mâché red cow, formerly considered to be a “ward against evil” and now either a toy or decoration sold as a souvenir in Aizu. Akabeko has become a symbol of the Aizu region.
