The wonderful woodblock print "Fujiwara no Teika no Zu" (A Portrait of Fujiwara no Teika) is by Tanyu Kano (1602-1674), a renowned Japanese Nihon-ga painter of the Kano school. Autumn evening around a shabby thatched hut by the sea." (*Wabi-sabi is a Japanese aesthetic and worldview that embraces imperfection and transience).
