Built with brick and granite, the Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall has been an iconic structure in Yokohama since 1917, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port. It is signed, titled, and numbered by the artist in pencil on the bottom margin.
Kashio Baba was born in Tokyo in 1927. He was a painter and printmaker from the Showa era. Starting with oil paintings, he later explored various techniques such as copperplate engraving, woodblock printing, and lithography, creating his unique artistic world. Several of his prints are in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art.

Condition: Overall, the print is in good condition; however, there are several spots on the upper right, upper left, top margin, and verso, as shown, so I reduced the price. Minor paper crease on the bottom margin (right side). The image itself is superb.
