Zuisen-ji is a beautiful Zen temple located in the eastern hills of Kamakura. Designed by the prominent Zen monk, poet, and garden designer Musō Kokushi (1275–1351), the temple is situated halfway up a mountain in a secluded setting and is celebrated for both its traditional garden and its Zen rock garden.
