"Niwatori" (Chickens) by Tekiho Imoto (1909 -) Tekiho Imoto was born in Oita prefecture in 1909. He studied at Kyoto Painting College under very famous artist Insho Domoto. The publisher is Doi hangaten (Eiichi Doi). Publisher copyright seal "Hanken shoyuu Doi Eiichi, carver name "Harada" and Printer name " Seki " in the left margin. Signed Tekiho with red artist seals in left of the image. Doi watermarked in the upper left margin. This print was printed in the '80s. (Printer Seki and carver Harada worked in between 1981 and 1995 in Doi Publisher.) Very beautiful colors and nice contrast.
