- Tsuta ni Shijugara (Japanese Ivy and Japanese Titmouse) -

The breathtaking woodblock print 'Tsuta ni Shijugara' (Japanese Ivy and Japanese Titmouse) is by Gakusui Ide (1899–1978). The publisher is Watanabe, and it has a Watanabe 7 mm seal on the lower-right corner of the image. The Japanese title, 'Tsuta ni Shijugara', is dated "Showa 24 nen 9 gatsu saku" (September 1949) on the right margin. The artist’s signature, "Gakusui," is accompanied by a red square seal on the lower-right corner of the image. This is a later printing from the late 1900s. The details and colors are amazingly beautiful. It comes with the original folder. Please see the pictures.

Condition: Very good condition. The print is still tipped to the original folder. There is a faint mat line along the edge of the image from the original presentation folder.
