Hideo Nishiyama (1911 - 1989) was born in Kyoto. He was a well-known (Nihon-ga) Japanese painting artist in Japan. Unsodo published "The Woodblock Prints -National Parks Series" by Hideo Nishiyama and Kaii Higashiyama in 1960.

Extra large size print, actually two large size prints adjoined. Tokuriki mentioned about this print in his book. He used the old technic of the Edo period which was carving and printing each print separately and adjoining later to appreciate. Titled "Neko to Kotori" and dated "1959" in Japanese on the upper right margin. Artist signature "Tomi " in gold on the lower right corner of each print. Artist's red seal "Toku" on the lower right corner of the image of the lower print. Signed "T. Tokuriki" and edition number "48/50" on the lower left corner of the image. Teruhide Kato had studied at Kyoto Art College. He was a famous kimono fashion designer. When he was 50 years old, he decided to follow his real passion and became a traditional Kyoto woodblock artist. Success remained with the artist. After a gallery exhibition in New York and a book publication of his works titled "Kyoto Romance", he is as famous as a woodblock artist as he used to be as a kimono designer. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2015.

Amazing woodblock print "Kinkaku-ji Getsumei" (Moonlight at Golden Pavilion) is by Teruhide Kato. Magnificent night image with Golden Pavillion and full moon. Published by Unsodo.
Teruhide Kato had studied at Kyoto Art College. He was a famous kimono fashion designer. When he was 50 years old, he decided to follow his real passion and became a traditional Kyoto woodblock artist. Success remained with the artist. After a gallery exhibition in New York and a book publication of his works titled "Kyoto Romance", he is as famous as a woodblock artist as he used to be as a kimono designer. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2015.

In addition, she produced a print collection "Paris" with very famous photographer Kishin Shinoyama and writer Jun Ishikawa. She passed away in 1995 in Tokyo, Japan. She was 58 years old.
