Teruhide Kato had studied at Kyoto Art College. He was a famous kimono fashion designer. After a gallery exhibition in New York and a book publication of his works titled "Kyoto Romance", he is as famous as a woodblock artist as he used to be as a kimono designer. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2015.

Lovely woodblock print "Pansy Girl" is by Tadashi Nakayama (1927- 2014). Absolutely charming image showing lovely girl and colorful flowers. This is Nakayama's early work. Dated "1957" and pencil signed by the artist on the bottom margin. Watanabe square gift seal on the lower right margin. Genuine handmade Japanese woodblock print. Very bold colors and wonderful contrast.
