The charming lithograph print, 'Robot to Fuji' (Robot and Mt. Fuji), is a unique and captivating print by Kashio Baba (1927–1994). This large print features a mix of modern and retro elements, creating a patchwork-like design that is sure to amuse and delight. Hand-signed, dated, and numbered by the artist, this print is a rare find with a limited edition size of only 40.
Baba was a renowned painter and printmaker from the Showa era, known for his exploration of various techniques such as copperplate engraving, woodblock printing, and lithography. Several of his prints are in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art.
