The delightful woodblock print Ame – C (Rain – C) by Kazuyuki Ohtsu depicts a gentle scene of a blue butterfly fluttering around hydrangea blooming in the rain. The rain, rendered with straight vertical lines, takes on a dreamlike quality through the use of silver pigment. This limited-edition print is sheet number 28/50 and is titled, signed, and dated in pencil by the artist in the bottom margin. The edition is limited to only 50 sheets.
