The beautiful woodblock print Yōkō (Sunlight at Sagano, Kyoto) is by Masao Ido (1945–2016). This smaller-format print beautifully captures a refreshing spring scene of the Sagano bamboo grove in Kyoto. Cherry blossoms are interwoven with lush bamboo, while sunlight filtering through the foliage creates a stunning harmony and exquisite contrast. The result is simply breathtaking.
