The charming lithograph 'Wakakusa no Shojo' (Girl in the Young Grass) is by Takehisa Yumeji (1884–1934). This original design was the cover illustration for Wakakusa, a literary magazine for women that was first published in 1925. It has later producedd as a woodblock print and lithograph. This work is a lithograph, sold by Dai Nippon Kaiga in a limited edition of 250. It is a charming piece that exudes the refreshing feeling of spring. The Western-style clothing, earrings, and hairpiece give it a Taisho modern feel, adding even more beauty.
