The striking black-and-white print 'Shoso-in, Nara Todai-ji' (Shoso-in at Todai-ji Temple in Nara) is by Unichi Hiratsuka (1895–1997) and was a supplement to the book 'Hiratsuka Unichi Hangashu' (Collection of Works by Hiratsuka Unichi), published by Kodan-sha in 1958.

Shoso-in is the treasure house of Todai-ji Temple, located within its grounds in Nara. This print captures the elegance of traditional Japanese architecture through a simple yet powerful black-and-white composition, highlighting Hiratsuka’s exceptional sense of design and balance. Beautifully embossed, it is a fine example of his mastery.
