The magnificent mezzotint print "Owara Kaze no Bon '95" (End of Summer Dance Festival) is by Kaoru Saito, printed in 1995. This festival is a representative event of Toyama Prefecture. The print depicts a graceful woman dancing in a summer kimono adorned with a charming butterfly pattern. The delicate pink lips peeking out from beneath her woven hat add a touch of freshness. This traditional dance is celebrated for its refinement and elegance, beautifully reflected in the image. Warm pink and purple tones glowing from the lanterns enhance the scene’s dreamlike beauty. The work is pencil-signed, dated, and titled in Japanese by the artist, from a limited edition of only 123 impressions.

Condition: Overall in good condition, with beautiful colors and details. There are a few very faint spots on the margins and verso, but they are minor and will be hidden when matted.
