- Nude in Blue -

The striking small-format woodblock print Nude in Blue by Junichiro Sekino depicts a reclining nude against vivid blue tones. Bold contour lines and a light, lyrical atmosphere give the composition a modern yet intimate quality. Printed by Chikuhōdō, the work reflects Sekino’s distinctive approach to figure subjects within the Japanese creative printmaking tradition.

The print remains tipped onto its white backing card. The artist’s name, the publisher’s name, Chikuhōdō, and the copyright symbol (©) appear on the lower portion of the card’s reverse, along with Japanese wording indicating that it is a hand-printed woodblock print.
