The breathtaking woodblock print 'Natadera Kōyō' (Autumn Leaves at Natadera Temple) by Masao Ido (1945–2016) beautifully captures the temple during the autumn season. Viewed through the entrance gate, the temple buildings rise among towering trees and brilliant foliage in shades of light orange, dark orange, red, and green. The bold colors and layered composition create a scene that is both serene and luminous, conveying the quiet beauty and seasonal atmosphere for which Natadera is especially admired.
Natadera is a historic temple in Ishikawa Prefecture known for its tranquil landscape, distinctive rock formations, and spectacular autumn foliage.
