The beautiful woodblock print 'Kitano Tenmangu' (Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Early Spring, Kyoto) is part of the "100 Scenes of Kyoto" series and captures the beauty of the famous Kitano Tenmangu Shrine during plum blossom season. This stunning woodblock print evokes the fresh atmosphere of early spring at the shrine, with lovely white and pink blossoms. It appears as though a black cow statue at the entrance is watching the lively scene. The publisher's name, "Kan-ei-do," along with a red publisher's seal, the carver's name, "Shoichi Kitamura," and the printer's name, "Junichi Sasaki," are listed in the left margin.
