- Itsukushima Shrine and the Five-Story Pagoda -

The beautiful small woodblock print "Itsukushima Jinja to Goju no Tou" (Itsukushima Shrine and the Five-Story Pagoda, Miyajima) is by Osamu Ueda (b. 1947). It captures a wonderful view of Itsukushima Shrine, with the pagoda visible in the distant background, all set amidst the lush greenery of Miyajima. The vibrant, captivating colors further enhance the charm of the scene.
