This is a mini-sized woodblock print originally created for a calendar and published by Chikuho-do. This handmade print is perfect for decorating a small space or as a charming gift.

It depicts a riverside scene in early summer, with strong perspective: large irises in the foreground and a person rowing a wooden boat in the distance.

Artist: Kieko Tsurusawa (b. 1942). She studied woodblock printing under Tokuriki.
