The breathtaking etching “Haru” (Spring) by Hiroto Norikane captures the tranquil beauty of a mountain village in springtime. Two ducks glide peacefully along a gently flowing stream, adding a charming touch of life to the serene landscape. Norikane’s meticulous etching technique reveals an extraordinary level of detail, beautifully rendering the trees, grasses, stream, and rustic farmhouses that make up this idyllic rural scene. I asked Mr. Norikane when this print was created, but he told me that he could no longer recall the exact year, noting only that it was made quite a long time ago.
