Kazuyuki Ohtsu

The stunning woodblock print "Kyoto Gio-ji" (Gio-ji Temple, Kyoto) is by Kazuyuki Ohtsu. It features a magnificent autumn image of Gio-ji Temple in Kyoto. The colors are vibrant, and the composition is well-balanced, creating a peaceful atmosphere. This print was part of a limited edition, with only 50 sheets produced, along with 3 artist proofs (AP). The sheet is numbered AP 1/3 and is titled, signed, and dated 2021 in the bottom margin in pencil by the artist. The strong texture of thick, fine Japanese handmade washi paper adds to its appeal.
