The print captures a magnificent view from the famous spot of Konodai, renowned for the Fuji of Shimosa and the autumn leaves. The title "Shimosa Konodai", "Hiroshige" red seal, and embossed seal in the lower left corner of the image. When Hiroshige was in his late 50s, he drew this series (Twelve Views of Mt. Fuji). They were originally sketchbooks/picture albums of hand-painting. They are very delicate, and the subtle colors are beautiful. The original artist's name "ゴッホ”(Gogh), the title in Japanese, Pencil-signed "Gihachiro Okuyama", and dated "1960" on the bottom margin. Dated "Showa 35 nen 6 gatsu" (June 1960) in Japanese and "Okuyama Gihachiro jizuri" (Printed by Gihachiro Okuyama) on the right margin. Gihachiro Okuyama produced wonderful woodblock print series of famous European paintings. This print is one of them. They are highly collectible prints and are hard to find nowadays.

(His real family name is Miyagi) This woodblock print is a combination of a snail, its poem, and a design featuring Hama-kiku (chrysanthemums/Nippon daisy) and waka poetry. 'Harimaze' is a style of ukiyo-e, which was created during the Edo period to the Meiji period. In the context of nishiki-e (multicolored woodblock prints), it refers to ukiyo-e that features various shapes and various types of pictures placed in a single print, much like the so-called "Harimaze byoubu" (folded screens with various pictures). It depicts the actor 'Yamashita Kyonosuke' with Ushiro-men (Back-mask) in the Fox Dance from the Drama "The Thousand Cherry Trees." The artist's signature and a red seal in the lower right.
*The term "Ushiro-men" in Kabuki dance refers to the practice of attaching a mask to the back of the performer's head, allowing them to portray two different roles by themselves.

This is a pencil signed by the artist, edition number, date, and title in Japanese on the bottom margin. The artist's red seal in the lower right corner of the image. Unique texture with heavy embossing by the Takuzuri technique. This technique involves spraying a mist onto paper to give it moisture and transferring the designs of the protruding sections by pressing against them forcefully. His Takuzuri prints are really powerful with his own technique of relief printing.
Kihei Sasajima was born in 1906 in Tochigi prefecture. His artworks were influenced by his teacher Shiko Munakata and Unichi Hiratsuka. He dedicated his life to black and white woodblock prints created in Takuzuri. His collectors are worldwide.

The wonderful black and white print "Asakusa Fukei, Taifu no ato no Okuyama" (Views of Asakusa, Okuyama after the Typoon) is by Unichi Hiratsuka (1985-1997). This print depicts a peaceful Okuyama after the typhoon. Around Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo which has been called "Okuyama" since the mid-Edo period, this shopping street is located. Okuyama has been bustling with show houses and street performances.
Unichi Hiratsuka is well known as the Master of Black and White. The Japanese title, subtitle, and artist's block-signed "Hiratsuka Unichi" in Japanese on the right margin. The hand-signed 'Un-ichi Hiratsuka' and sheet number '20/30' on the bottom margin. The artist's red seal is in the lower right corner of the image. It comes with the original folder.
Unichi Hiratsuka is called the "father of the Sosaku Hanga" and one of the very famous artists of 21st-century Japanese art. This extremely rare woodblock print, 'Zakuro ni Budou' (Pomegranates and Grapes), is by Kiyochika Kobayashi (1847–1915). The print beautifully depicts pomegranates and grapes arranged on a small table. Many Japanese painters of that time created works influenced by Western still-life paintings, driven by their admiration for Western art and their exploration of techniques. Specifically, various artists focused on expressing the torn fruit and the play of light in the pomegranate motif.
Kiyochika Kobayashi's print illuminates pomegranates and grapes with a play of light and shadow, showcasing splendid technique. It was printed during the Meiji era (1879-1881). The artist's signature is located in the lower right, and the publisher is Heikichi Matsuki.
This print is held in the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto; the Tokyo National Museum; the Minneapolis Institute of Art; and the National Museum of Asian Art, Smithsonian Institution.

Additionally, there are minor paper scuffs on the edge of the verso (once tipped to the Japanese paper). However, considering its age, the print remains in overall good condition. The serene woodblock print "Kobai" (Red Plum Blossoms) is by Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934). From the popular series "Onna judai" (Ten Female Subjects). Limited edition size of only 280 sheets. The title, artist's signature, and artist's red seal are in the lower left corner of the image. The artist's name, the title, edition number 158/280 in Japanese Kanji, and the publisher's name "Takamizawa" on the left margin. The deeply embossed title "Kobai" in Kanji is in the center top margin. This is a recarved edition by Takamizawa publisher in 1984. It comes with a Certificate of Authentication in Japanese. A woman holds red plum blossoms in her hands and admires the beauty of the flower. This print captures her innocence beautifully. Plum blossoms symbolize "beauty and longevity". This lovely print is sure to add a touch of elegance to any room.
Yumeji Takehisa was born in Okayama in 1884. He is very famous for his Bijin-ga (paintings of beautiful women), in addition, he succeeded as an illustrator for many books or advertisements. His typical lyrical works were called 'Yumeji-style beauties (Bijin). He is a representative painter of Taisho romance, and was sometimes called the "Ukiyo-e artist of the Taisho era''.

The wonderful woodblock print "Yuki no Miyajima" (Snow at Miyajima) is by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). First printed in 1929 originally by Kawaguchi & Sakai; this is a later printing by Shobisha from original blocks. Shobisha obtained the original blocks in about 1950. Signed Hasui with red artist seal "sui". The bottom margin contains the title "Yuki no Miyajima" and the date "Showa 4 nen 7 gatsu saku" (Printed in July 1929) in Japanese. Wonderful shading and lifelike reflection on the water. Beautifully embossed. Highly detailed with skillful shading. The red torii gate is very beautiful on a snowy day.

Tetsugaku no michi is a pedestrian path that follows a cherry tree-lined canal in Kyoto that is well known for its cherry blossoms. It is a beautiful stretch of nature where the scenery changes from season to season, with cherry blossoms in spring, green trees in early summer, and autumn leaves in autumn. It is one of the most popular walking trails in Kyoto and is visited by many people during the cherry blossom season and autumn foliage season.
