The small, horizontal woodblock print “Izumo Denen Fukei” (Izumo Rice Field Landscape) is by Unichi Hiratsuka (1895–1997). This print depicts a tranquil rural landscape in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture. The expansive rice fields, rendered in a panoramic view despite the print’s small size, create a beautiful composition. The print is hand-signed, titled, and dated in pencil along the bottom margin, as shown.
