The breathtaking woodblock print 'Higashiyama Shunkei' (Spring Scenery of Higashiyama, Kyoto) is by Masao Ido (1945–2016). This stunning work captures the beauty of Higashiyama in spring, filled with blooming weeping cherry blossoms. The composition evokes the moment of opening a shoji screen window to reveal a magnificent view of blossoms set against the mountains beyond. The circular window, reflected as a soft silhouette on the shoji screen, adds a distinctive touch of Kyoto’s traditional elegance and quiet charm.

Condition: Overall in good condition. There are a couple of tiny, pinhead-size spots and a few very faint scuffs on the bottom margin, likely from the artist lightly erasing a small ink mark. They are subtle, not easily noticeable, and will be matted out. Please refer to the pictures. The price has been slightly reduced.
