The pampas grass in the foreground, swaying gently in the wind, lends the work a graceful sense of calm.

Kofuku-ji Temple is registered as a World Heritage Site as part of the "Cultural Assets of Ancient Nara" and is home to many historical and cultural treasures. It houses numerous national treasures and important cultural properties, including the five-story pagoda, main hall, and northern round hall, as well as many renowned Buddhist statues, such as the famous Ashura statue.
