The wonderful woodblock print 'Kofu Koen to Fuji' (Kofu Park and Mt. Fuji) is by Kaiseki Jokata (1882–1966) and is part of the series 'Twenty-five Views of Mt. Fuji' (Fuji Nijūgokei). This print depicts a peaceful spring scene at Kofu Park, featuring stone architecture and Mt. Fuji in the background. People are dressed in various styles—some in Kimono, some in Western-style clothes—showing the civilization flourishing during the 1930s when Western and Eastern cultures blended. The cheerful colors of women's clothing and plum blossom trees add elegance to this lovely print. It captures incredible details and is very rare to find on the market.

Kaiseki Jokata (whose real family name is Sadakata) was born in Okayama in 1882. He was an active Nihon-ga artist (painter) and later moved to France, where he was selected for the Salon d'Automne. After returning to Tokyo, he eventually went back to Okayama, his hometown, where he was born and raised. Later in his career, he also worked on woodblock prints. Throughout his life, his primary subjects were Mt. Fuji and Buddhist paintings. His woodblock prints, especially those from the Fuji series, are well-known.
