A serene lithograph print, 'Kaikou Kinenkan' (Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall), is by Kashio Baba (1927–1994). This print captures a winter scene of the Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall on a snowy day. Built with brick and granite, the Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall has been an iconic structure in Yokohama since 1917, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port. It is signed, titled, and numbered by the artist in pencil on the bottom margin.

Kashio Baba was born in Tokyo in 1927. He was a painter and printmaker from the Showa era. Starting with oil paintings, he later explored various techniques such as copperplate engraving, woodblock printing, and lithography, creating his unique artistic world. Several of his prints are in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art.
