The lovely small-format woodblock print “Yuri – Fumizuki” (Lily – July), from the series Twelve Aspects of Flowers, is by Tomikichiro Tokuriki. Printed in 1978, the composition features the Japanese title in the upper left, while the artist's signature and red seal, both reading "Tomi," appear in the lower right.

This charming print depicts a graceful lily in bloom with a single unopened bud, set against a luminous yellow background. Delicate red hatching and pale green accents give the flower a lively, decorative quality while emphasizing its elegant form. The lily is a traditional kigo (seasonal word) for summer in Japanese haiku and waka poetry. Long associated with purity and nobility, it has been celebrated in Japanese poetry, literature, and art for centuries, making it one of Japan's most beloved summer flowers.
