The breathtaking woodblock print 'Waki Misaki' (Waki-misaki Cape) by Takeji Asano, from the series 'Scenes Around Kyushu', depicts a spectacular view of Waki misaki in Nagasaki Prefecture. The print showcases an exhilarating scene of overlapping islands behind a small village. Waki misaki, located at the southernmost tip of Nagasaki Prefecture, is renowned for its 2-kilometer-long white sand beach and gentle waves. This woodblock print beautifully captures the stunning scenery. The title "Waki misaki" and  "Takeji ga, koku" (Drawn and carved by Takeji) are in Japanese in the lower left corner of the image.
