- Tanpopo - Yayoi (Dandelion - March) -

The charming small-format woodblock print Tanpopo – Yayoi (Dandelion – March), from Tomikichiro Tokuriki’s series Twelve Aspects of Flowers, was printed in 1978. The title refers to Yayoi, an old name for March. A bright yellow dandelion rises above broad gray leaves, with a soft turquoise band behind it. The simple colors give the composition a fresh, delicate feel.
