- Okushiri-tō (Okushiri Island) -

The superb woodblock print Okushiri-tō (Okushiri Island) by Junichiro Sekino beautifully captures the tranquil charm of a fishing village on Okushiri Island at sunset. As the sun sets over the peaceful village and ocean, a flock of crows perches on the poles of a fishing boat, enhancing the serene atmosphere. A fishing boat passes by, adding to the scene. The mellow hues of the sunset reflect on the water, creating a mesmerizing view. This stunning print evokes nostalgia and romance. It is printed on special watermarked paper marked 'Jun. Sekino.' The title, hand-signed 'Jun Sekino,'  with the artist's red seal, are in the lower right corner of the image.

Condition: Overall, in very good condition. There are minor paper creases on the margin corners and a couple of tiny, faint spots on the bottom margin, but they are very minor, barely noticeable, and can easily be matted out. A minor paper scuff on the top edge of the verso from previous mounting. Please see the pictures.
