The distinctive woodblock print Mizu, ’73 (Water) by Umetaro Azechi (1902–1999) playfully portrays a yama otoko (mountain man) holding a water bottle—an essential item for mountain climbing. His large hands and striped beard give the figure an engaging character, while the orange bottle stands out against the blue background. Simple forms and expressive details give this everyday subject a charming appeal.

The print is hand-signed “U. AZECHI,” numbered 106/200, dated ’73, and titled “Mizu” in pencil along the bottom margin. It comes with its original folder.
