Japanese woodblock print "Ichikawa Komazo"(Kabuki Actor) is by Hanjiro Sakamoto (1882-1969). From "Soga Butai Sugata" (Sketch of Players on Stage): Ichikawa Komazo playing Anewano Heiji. Originally published in Meiji 44 (1911). This is a later printing by Kato Hanga Kenkyusho in Showa 46 (1971). The title "市川高麗蔵" (Ichikawa Komazo) and "姉輪平次" (Anewano Heiji) on the upper left corner of the image. Round red seal "Sakamoto" (artist) and the embossed seal "Hanmoto Kato Hanga Kenkyusho" (publisher) on the lower left margin. Very rare print.
