- Hinemosu (All Day) -

The beautiful woodblock print Hinemosu (All Day) by Katsuyuki Nishijima depicts “Tajimaya,” a well-known inn in Magome, Nagano Prefecture. The composition is thoughtfully arranged, and the striking colors create a strong visual impact while evoking a serene, tranquil atmosphere. The title appears in Japanese, and the print is hand-signed by the artist in the bottom margin.

Condition: Acquired directly from the artist. There are a couple of pinhead-sized ink spots in the margin, not noticeable to the casual observer. Minor paper creases are present at the top margin corners, which will mat out easily.
