The serene woodblock print Gion no Natsu (Gion in Summer, Kyoto) is by Masao Ido (1945–2016). This stunning work captures the beauty of Gion in summer, a historic district in Kyoto renowned for its traditional architecture. It depicts the entrance of an ochaya (teahouse), creating a tranquil image of a traditional Kyoto street.
