The serene woodblock print “Gifu Yuki no Takayama Sannomachi” (Old Town of Takayama in Snow, Gifu) is by Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902–2000). This large-format work beautifully captures a winter scene of Takayama’s historic district in Gifu Prefecture. The strong use of color and detail conveys both the atmosphere of the season and the enduring charm of this celebrated townscape. 

The Japanese title, the artist's signature "Tomi," and the artist's red seal appear in the lower left corner of the image. The limited edition number and the artist's hand-signed "T. Tokuriki" in pencil are on the bottom margin. The Japanese title and the date "Showa 55 nen" (1980) are on the right margin. A watermark reading "Tomi" is in the upper left corner.

Condition: Very good condition with vibrant colors. There are a few very faint spots on the margins (top center, upper right edge, and bottom right edge) that will be hidden when matted. There’s also an extremely faint spot on the snow of the roof in the image, but it’s hardly noticeable. I’ve adjusted the price accordingly. In fact, I did not notice these until taking zoomed-in photographs. They are very minor—please refer to the pictures.
