- Gemini (Constellation Series) -

The striking print “Gemini” (Constellation Series) is by Tsuyoshi Yayanagi (b. 1933). The print depicts the zodiac sign Gemini in a unique way. It features a bold color composition and vivid hues, creating a highly dynamic design. This print would be especially meaningful for those born under the sign of Gemini (May 21–June 21).

The work is pencil-signed “Yayanagi,” dated ’73, and numbered 54/100 by the artist. It is from a limited edition of only 100 prints. A sticker reading “Gemini” (Constellation Series) by Tsuyoshi Yayanagi in Japanese (Seiza Series, Futago-za) appears on the verso. Please see the photo.

Tsuyoshi Yayanagi (b. 1933, Hokkaido) is a contemporary artist active in oil painting, printmaking, murals, and design. He has worked both in Japan and internationally, has represented Japan at the São Paulo International Biennale, and has collaborated with fashion designer Junko Koshino. His works are held in several museums in Japan and abroad.
