Absolutely lovely woodblock print "Baby Koinobori (Girl)" is by Kunio Kaneko. The "Koinobori" is a carp-shaped flag that is often flown during the "Tango-no-Sekku" (Boy's Festival) in Japan. Each carp represents a son in the family, with the eldest having the largest one and the others decreasing in size. The top flag features the Japanese Kanji "姫” (hime), which means "Princess", adding a touch of elegance to this already charming print.
