The breathtaking woodblock print Asakusa Kannon-dō (Asakusa Kannon-dō Hall, Tokyo) by Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902–1999) depicts a serene scene in Asakusa during the Shōwa era, with a gentle presence of people enjoying the cherry blossom season. Beneath large umbrellas, two stalls line the pathway, evoking the quiet, peaceful atmosphere of spring.

This chūban-format print is part of the Shiki Tokyo Fūkei (Four Seasons of Tokyo) series. The title Asakusa Kannon-dō, the artist’s signature “Tomikichirō,” and the red publisher’s seal “Uchida-ban” appear in the upper right corner of the image. An additional Uchida publisher’s seal is located in the lower right margin.
