Wonderful woodblock print "Saotome" (Rice Planting Girls) is by Shiro Kasamatsu.  Self-published print, dated "1958". Japanese title "Saotome" and dated "1958" in the bottom margin. Handsigned "Shiro Kasamatsu" and artist red seal on the lower-right corner of the image. Hexagonal embossed seal "紫” (Shi from Shiro) on the bottom margin (right side) with number 175. Rectangular embossed seal "紫浪 刻.刷" (carved&printed by Shiro) on the lower right margin. Beautifully embossed. It is extremely hard to find Kasamatsu’s self-published print nowadays.

Condition: Good condition with minor toning. Typical ink smudges on the margins. Light waving on the right and left margin. Faintest mat line on the upper margin. Tape residue on verso.  A few minor spots on verso, it doesn’t show from the front.  Please see the pictures.
