The breathtaking woodblock print "Himeji Shirasagi-jo" (Himeji Castle) by Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902–2000) captures a stunning view of Himeji Castle in Hyogo Prefecture. Known as the “White Heron Castle” for its graceful design and striking white exterior, it is one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks. The vibrant colors of the sky and the lush greenery surrounding the castle create a romantic and serene atmosphere.

The artist’s signature, “Tomi,” and his red seal appear in the lower right corner of the image. The hand-signed name “T. Tokuriki” is located in the lower left corner of the image. In the right margin are the Japanese title “Himeji Shirasagi-jo,” the date “Showa 58 nen” (1983), and the edition number 35/200. A watermark reading “Tomi” is also present in the lower right corner.

Condition: Overall in good condition. Minor toning/mat line along the inside of the image; I reduced the price accordingly.
