The exquisite woodblock print "Yagasuri" (Modern Beauty in Yagasuri Kimono) is by Keiichi Takasawa. Very large size. "Yagasuri" is shaped like an arrow feather, originally woven by the technique of Kasuri (splashed pattern). It is regarded as a lucky charm at the wedding, since the arrow does not come back when it shoots. Therefore, Yagasuri is one of the most popular Kimono patterns from long ago. The intricate details of the Kimono, combined with the serene expression of the woman, create a mesmerizing image that is both contemporary and traditional. The artist's signature and red seal are in the lower left corner of the image. Edition number on the bottom margin. The publisher is Watanabe, the Carver is Kentaro Maeda, and the Printer is Shozaburo Horikawa. It comes with a small caption paper.
